The location was exceptionally nice, near all locations on the island, the local shop next door, as well as the waterfront and town. the room was a good size, actually huge.

The room was immaculate and neat, included with three equally sized single beds, great shower, for example. The breakfast was included, that was a bonus. It had central location close to a multi-purpose stadium.

The room was freshly decorated and neat, equipped with coffee, a hair dryer, and armchairs. Plentiful full English breakfast including porridge, reasonably priced. - Magnificent and perfect location near the town center with good restaurants in the area.

    Nice dining area

Small room, cramped with to much furniture. Very small shower room and toilet. Very noisy at night from passing traffic. Bed uncomfortable.

Food very good. Nice to have a good selection to choose from at breakfast. Our room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The receptionist was very helpful she booked our outings. the coach company's pick up at the hotels which is great. Would certainly recommend this superb hotel

The dining chairs would be more comfortable with cushions

The hotel has a great central location with a local shop conveniently nearby.

The position of the the hotel was only a five minute walk to the town centre which was perfect for transport links and shopping. Even though the hotel is central it is tucked away in a back street so it is nice and quiet at night. The hotel was decorated to a very high standard and the cleanliness was of a very high standard. The staff were extremely polite and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and can think of nowhere else I would rather stay when visiting the island again.

Our twin room was very small it was quite comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by the large lounge area in the Hampshire along with pleasant outdoor terrace and small pool. The unpredictable weather allowed us one lovely afternoon sunning ourselves by the pool - lovely! Staff were really nice and helpful, giving us advice about restaurants and recommending things to do.

Breakfast seemed a bit haphazard on occasion, food and plates ran out quickly and took a while to replenish. We and a couple of other guests were told very abruptly on one occasion to go and wait in the lounge until tables were ready, even though the restaurant was half-empty. It often seemed they didn't expect all their guests to arrive for breakfast, so would recommend getting there early!

The room was cleaned everyday and getting fresh towels.. The breakfast was more than enough-lots to choose from, very filling.. The staff were very friendly and helpful....

Firstly, my mam is a chronic asthmatic, it did state the hotel was a 10min walk from town-i found it close enough but, it took my mam 20- 25mins..so not gd for asthma suffer'S...!!! Secondly, there was no entertainment in the hotel and not much goin on outwith, the hotel had a wonderful bar so spacious that a piano in the corner wouldn't go amiss.... Overall, it was a pleasant stay but a bit disappointed in the room we got...(small)....

This hotel is very nice. It has been tastefully modernised in the public areas. It has a nice pool area and outside bar/deck/patio etc. Our room was large and light but extremely hot (no air con) but the staff did get us a fan when we asked which made it much better. It is comfortable and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is very nice but quite cramped at breakfast as the tables are so close together,,not amusing for those of us who don't like private conversations to be overheard easily or to have to listen to others conversations. Breakfast itself was very good, lots of choice and very civilised prompt service for tea/coffee.

I personally did not like it's location. I mistakenly believed it was fairly central to everything but in reality it is the best part of a mile walk to anything, bars/restaurants /shops etc. At least the walk is reasonably straight and flat but you do pass through some quite dark and deserted areas. If you do not really like the idea of a long walk to the nearest of anything you should think twice or make sure you have a car. I did not think we would need a car for a weekend break in what I thought was the town centre but wished we had of booked one to make getting around easier. It spoilt if for me as it was a hot weekend and the long trudge to and from the hotel to the harbour, bus station, cafes etc made me cranky and hot.I Don't mind a nice walk but to have to do it to get anywhere irritated me and my funny knee! If you are catching a bus anywhere this hotel is a good 25 minute walk to the bus station so allow yourself time. It was really the only negative thing about it though. I liked it but would not return simply due to it's outlying location.
